
DIN Setting Calculator
Deutsches Institut für Normung (translated as German Institute for Standardisation), known as DIN.

In terms of the Skier & Technician relationship DIN is the little number gauge you can see on most Ski's Toe and Heel.
This is the calculated torque release value set for your skis using your external ski boot length in millimetres (mm), age, height, weight & ability level.

NOTE: Its very important to calculate this number correctly to avoid serious injury. If you are unsure of the calculations and current industry standards please consult our team, or a suitably experienced & qualified technician.

Other Factors must be considered;

Forward Pressure Indicator must be set within manufacturers guidelines.
AFD (Anti Friction Device) height and adjustment, in-line with manufacturers recommendation.
